Council for the Advancement of Forensic GenealogyNatural gas and oil rights have always been big in Texas. The development of “fracking” as an oil and gas recovery method is spreading the mineral rights industry to other states.  Forensic genealogist  Wanda Smith Kearns is a practicing attorney in Texas who will explore the mineral rights landscape in the upcoming Forensic Genealogy Institute’s Advanced Forensic Evidence Analysis course. Learn how forensic genealogists are employed in the field to find landholders, heirs, and property rights.
