You check the rules of evidence for your state and learn that the court will require a certified translation of each foreign document. Who does certified translations? How do you find a qualified certified translator? David L. Lauman has been a full-time freelance Spanish translator and interpreter for nearly a decade. David will present a one-hour session on certified translations during the 2014 Forensic Genealogy Institute advanced track. This course is one of a three-part session that also includes conducting dual citizenship cases and managing foreign research projects.
